Meals On Wheels Drivers

Meals On Wheels drivers are needed for Senior Services throughout the county. Volunteers would be delivering meals right around lunchtime for the the Coleman Center in Coleman and Greendale Center in the West Midland Family Center. Volunteers use their own vehicles, mileage is reimbursed. Most drivers take one route a week(Monday-Friday) taking about 2 hours starting at 10:30 am or 11 am until about 12:30 pm or 1 pm. Regular drivers and substitute drivers are needed too. Due to the vulnerable population, Senior Services does not take court appointed community service volunteers. There is training, a background check and driver’s license check. By Expressing Interest volunteers will be contacted by Senior Services Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator, Tina Podboy-Laughner to set up a route.
